What connects them is a curiosity about what could exist — and a desire to turn that possibility into something people can use, experience or connect with.

The story behind the name
Why IPLIE?
One central idea: the fold.
The name draws inspiration from the fold in the philosophy of Gilles Deleuze: a way of seeing forms, relationships, movements and possibilities as continuously folding, unfolding and transforming.
Every project begins somewhere within one of those folds.
And before the fold stands the I.
A vertical letter, almost like a figure standing upright. But also the English “I” — the individual: the person who imagines, creates, builds and acts.
That same I evokes the digital world: the Internet, interconnection, and the infrastructure that allows an idea born in one part of the world to reach someone on the other side.
A movement before the movement.
There is another resonance too: the plié of classical ballet. A movement in which the body bends to prepare for motion. The fold becomes flexibility, balance, control and momentum.
Technology and movement.
